Bike Riding

We have been going over to the next block to ride bikes on a much less busy street. Once Abbey had a little room she took off on two wheels like a pro! A little more practice staying on the side of the road and I might be brave enough to take a family bike ride . . .

Nathaniel's Fort

Nathaniel built this fort during his quiet time yesterday, but it took his whole hour to design it. We took pictures so he could try again today and the battle was successful. This was the "bad guy" fort and when the conflict ended the only thing left standing was their flag:)

Losing Bella . . .

What started out as a happy day, ended a little sad as we said goodbye to Bella the goldfish. We got her 3 1/2 years ago when we bought the bigger tank for Bingo. Since Shane is in the backcountry I had to conduct the services . . . we buried her in the strawberry patch.

Sourdough Bread

At my Bible Study last week I got a starter for sourdough bread. I've been experimenting with it some. I made cinnamon rolls for the guides Tuesday morning as they headed out for a pack trip. They came out pretty good!
