Bears in the Flowers

So, for reasons I won't go into, I was able to show Shane the picture this morning and he confirmed that there is definitely a bear (probably 2) in this picture. It looks like a mom and cub. I included the original and the "zoomed in" version. Thanks Janet for finding them!!

Shane had a hard time getting a good picture of the kids looking at him so he decided to take this video of them on the merry go round:). Nathaniel was too busy looking at himself in the mirror to look at Dad:)!

Gallatin Co. Fair!

On Friday night, the 18th we went to the fair. There were several thunderstorms that evening so we weren't able to ride the ferris wheel, but the kids enjoyed it anyway. This was the first time they had ever been to a fair with rides!

Wildflowers - Indian Paintbrush and Lupine - 7-19-08 (zoom into this one, my Aunt Janet discovered that there appears to be a bear in the trees. Shane is in the backcountry so he hasn't actually seen it to confirm, but I talked to him and he did say he was only trying to take a picture of the wildflowers:))

Independence Day!

We spent the 4th with our neighbors, josh and Jess Arlint. Our camera has been with out a battery for a couple of weeks, but Jess got some nice pictures. Shane is on his first dayride today. We have a VERY busy summer so my posting may be intermittant. Thanks for checking in!
