Ellie broke her arm today on her pogo stick. She was "sticking" on a dirty floor and slipped on the sand, landed with her left arm twisted behind her. She was such a trooper. We are very thankful she did not need surgery. However, the orthopedic surgeon said it could not be cast, so she will be in a sling for 6-8 weeks (if all goes well). No P.E., sports or gymnastics for Ellie :( for awhile.

I hope she is doing better!!!! That is crazy. I remember when I had a pogo stick. I didn't break any bones but the spot where your feet go was plain old rusted metal and my foot lost its spot and it made a nasty gash up my leg.
Hope Ellie's arm is getting better quickly and the bone is healing straight. Hopefully it will be healed completely enough that she can enjoy the fun activities that accompany the approaching warmer weather.
It's great be able to follow the goings on out there and see how everyone is doing and how fast everyone is growing!
